Ex-Atlassian Insiders Raise Millions for AI Startup

Redactive, a startup founded by two former Atlassian product managers and a machine learning engineer, has raised an $11.5 million seed funding round after convincing financial services clients to use its platform to empower ordinary software engineers to build AI applications.

The funding round was co-led by Sydney-based venture capital firm Blackbird Ventures and Canva’s first US investor Felicis Ventures. US automation software company Zapier and the venture capital arm of Atlassian also contributed to the round.
